AVI30419 CERTIFICATE III IN AVIATION (REMOTE PILOT)

SENIOR SECONDARY AT DEVONPORT

Students can enrol at Devonport High School for Year 11 and 12 as a full-time option, as a shared enrolment, with some classes at Devonport High School and some classes at a college or via Virtual Learning Tasmania (VLT) based at Devonport High School. All students should be aiming to achieve the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE). In addition, students should be aiming for an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and/or a Vocational Education & Training (VET) Certificate.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?

The program is offered to any student in Year 11 or 12 across the region. Students enrolled in AVI30419 CERTIFICATE III IN AVIATION (REMOTE PILOT) can choose to attend Devonport High School as a full time student with both onsite learning VET and TASC learning, online through Virtual Learning Tasmania (VLT) or through a shared enrolment with another local school or college.

Delivery is over 2 days face-to-face, involving a combination of theory, simulated activities and practical flying. In addition to this students are expected to package Career and Life Planning (CLP205118) with this course.
